Clinical Waste Disposal
As per the guidelines provided by the Victorian Department of Health, after a COVID-19 deep clean, all waste will be placed in yellow biohazard bags and disposed of in the clinical waste stream. We will remove all clinical waste from your premises after the COVID contaminated cleaning has occurred.
Method of applying cleaning chemicals and detergents
At Brilliant Office Cleaning, we utilise spray bottles to apply disinfectants and detergents. This is the most reliable COVID-19 deep cleaning method of applying disinfectants and detergents.
Electrostatic spraying and disinfection
Electrostatic spraying is highly recommended because it produces electrostatically charged disinfectant droplets that adhere easily to surfaces and thus optimises the disinfection process. For this reason, Brilliant Office Cleaning uses electrostatic sprayers in our COVID-19 deep cleaning services.
For high-pressure disinfectant application, fogging is usually recommended. Dry fogging produces droplets that are less than ten microns in size, while cold/wet/misting/ultra-low volume fogging produces droplets of between 20 and 100 microns. However, the Victorian Department of Health discourages fogging disinfection for COVID deep cleaning. For this reason, fogging is not included in our COVID-19 deep cleaning service.
The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) has certified products that are effective against COVID-19. These products are listed on the TGA website. Brilliant Office Cleaning personnel pride themselves in using only TGA approved disinfectants.
COVID-19 infection control training
Brilliant Office Cleaning is proud of our well-trained COVID-19 deep cleaning staff. As required by the Victorian Department of Health, all personnel involved in COVID-19 deep cleaning are required to complete COVID-19 Infection Control Training.
