Clinical Waste Disposal
As per the guidelines provided by the Victorian Department of Health, after a COVID-19 deep clean, all waste will be placed in yellow biohazard bags and disposed of in the clinical waste stream. We will remove all clinical waste from your premises after the COVID contaminated cleaning has occurred.
Method of applying cleaning chemicals and detergents
The cleaning crews at Brilliant Office Cleaning utilise spray bottles to effectively apply detergents and disinfectant solutions to surfaces. This is the most frequent method of applying cleaning detergents and disinfectants during COVID-19 deep cleaning.
Electrostatic spraying and disinfection
With electrostatic spraying you can rest assured that the electrostatically charged disinfectant droplets will effectively attach to the surfaces and promote a much more effective sanitising process. For this reason, Brilliant Office Cleaning uses electrostatic sprayers when performing COVID-19 deep cleaning.
This is a high pressure application of disinfectant. Dry fogging entails droplets of less than 10 microns, while cold/wet/misting/ultra-low volume fogging involves droplets of 20 to 100 microns. The Victorian Department of Health does not endorse fogging disinfection when COVID-19 deep cleaning is required. Therefore, our COVID-19 deep cleaning does not involve fogging.
The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) has certified specific solutions that are effective against COVID. These products are listed on the TGA website. For all surface disinfecting, our Brilliant Office Cleaning staff only use TGA approved disinfectants.
COVID-19 infection control training
Brilliant Office Cleaning has a specialised team who conduct COVID-19 deep cleaning. The Victorian Department of Health has mandated that all staff involved in COVID-19 deep cleaning must complete the COVID-19 Infection Control Training.
