Clinical Waste Disposal
In line with COVID deep clean regulations prescribed by the Victorian Department of Health, we use yellow biohazard bags for waste disposal in the clinical waste stream. After the COVID contaminated cleaning process, our crew ensures that no clinical waste is left behind.
Method of applying cleaning chemicals and detergents
Spray bottles
At Brilliant Office Cleaning, we utilise spray bottles for disinfectant and detergent application. In this era of COVID-19, this is regarded as the best method of applying detergents and disinfectants.
Electrostatic spraying and disinfection
Electrostatic spraying works by producing electrostatically charged droplets of disinfectant that adhere more easily to surfaces to optimise the disinfection process. This is why Brilliant Office Cleaning uses electrostatic sprayers when providing COVID-19 deep cleaning services.
Fogging
Fogging is a method used to apply a disinfectant under high pressure, with a droplet size of less than 10 microns for dry fogging, or between 20 to 100 microns for wet, cold or ultra-low volume fogging or misting. However, the Victorian Department of Health discourages fogging disinfection in COVID deep cleaning. For this reason, fogging is not part of our COVID-19 deep cleaning process.
Disinfectants
The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) has certified specific substances that are useful against COVID. These products are listed on the TGA website. Brilliant Office Cleaning only uses TGA approved disinfectants for disinfecting surfaces.
COVID-19 infection control training
Brilliant Office Cleaning has a trained team to conduct COVID-19 deep cleaning. According to the Victorian Department of Health’s regulations, all personnel involved in COVID-19 deep cleaning should complete COVID-19 Infection Control Training.
