Clinical Waste Disposal
In accordance with Victorian Department of Health protocols regarding COVID deep cleaning, we deposit waste in yellow biohazard bags before proper disposal in the clinical waste stream. After the COVID contaminated cleaning process, our crew ensures that no clinical waste is left behind.
Method of applying cleaning chemicals and detergents
Brilliant Office Cleaning uses spray bottles to apply detergents and disinfectants to surfaces. This is the most common method of applying cleaning detergents and disinfectants during a COVID-19 deep clean.
Electrostatic spraying and disinfection
You can rest assured that electrostatic spraying enables the electrostatically charged disinfectant droplets to easily adhere to surfaces and deliver a much more effective sanitising process. This is why Brilliant Office Cleaning uses electrostatic sprayers in our COVID-19 deep cleaning services.
For high-pressure disinfectant application, fogging is usually highly recommended. Dry fogging is when the droplets are less than ten microns, while cold/wet/misting/ultra-low volume fogging involves droplets of between 20 and 100 microns. However, the Victorian Department of Health does not recommend fogging disinfection for COVID-19 deep cleaning. For this reason, we do not use fogging for COVID-19 deep cleaning.
The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) has certified products that are effective for use in the fight against COVID-19. These products are specified on the TGA website. Brilliant Office Cleaning will use only TGA approved disinfectants for disinfecting all surfaces.
COVID-19 infection control training
For all COVID-19 deep cleaning, Brilliant Office Cleaning is proud to deploy our well-trained staff. In line with the Victorian Department of Health specifications, all cleaning staff that take part in COVID-19 deep cleaning are required to have completed COVID-19 Infection Control Training.
