Clinical Waste Disposal
In line with COVID deep clean regulations specified by the Victorian Department of Health, we use yellow biohazard bags for waste disposal in the clinical waste stream. After the COVID contaminated cleaning process, our crew ensures that no clinical waste is left behind.
Method of applying cleaning chemicals and detergents
At Brilliant Office Cleaning, we utilise spray bottles to apply disinfectants and detergents. In this era of COVID-19, this has proven to be the best method of applying detergents and disinfectants.
Electrostatic spraying and disinfection
Electrostatic spraying is highly recommended, as it produces electrostatically charged disinfectant droplets that easily adhere to surfaces, and enhances the disinfection process. For this reason, Brilliant Office Cleaning has adopted electrostatic sprayers as part of our COVID-19 deep cleaning.
Fogging is a method used to apply a disinfectant under high pressure. Dry fogging produces droplet sizes of less than 10 microns, while wet, cold or ultra-low volume fogging produces droplets of between 20 to 100 microns. The Victorian Department of Health does not recommend fogging disinfection when delivering a COVID-19 deep clean, and therefore, we do not use fogging when providing our COVID-19 deep cleaning service.
The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) has certified products that are effective against COVID-19. These products are listed on the TGA website. Brilliant Office Cleaning personnel pride themselves in using only TGA approved disinfectants to disinfect surfaces.
